bikinis are cooling. That’s a big motivator -not simply showing off. why shouldn’t a large person be cool. No one knows why anyone is in the shape they are in snd who cares anyhow it’s not your body.
(let alone the fact being large doesn’t mean you will look bad. Inversely being thin doesn’t mean you will look good.)
Swim wear should be primarily about swimming. What kind of world Is it when where attire comes before the activity you are dressed for.

I can’t claim superior there bc I tend to avoid showing my body when I swim due to scars. Length I go to - it’s absurd.

And honestly what do you want people to wear -A moo moo? There is very little diff between a one piece and a bikini. In both cases skin is still shown, body is still seen.
I think what is deep down in this attitude is I dont think certain people should be allowed to go to my swim area. Which is really the kind of thinking that when promoted, gets us into world wars. Bc it’s sociopathic = dangerous.

What is the deal with people judging bodies at the pool- just another area of life. Are all imperfect people supposed to wear tents ⛺️ everywhere 🤨?
I've already spoken in length about your scars so you know what I think of them and I will won't sound like a broken record.
That being said I'll tell you something I discovered very recently. See I was playing wheelchair basketball (A team is allowed 4 healthy players) and during the games I met people with all kinds of physical problems. Many were missing limbs, burn marks, and other things that had them either in chairs or with prosthetics that they would take off before playing. But the one thing they all had in common was heart. And they used that heart to kick our asses on the court.
So I realized that we are all freaks in our own way. Some more visible that others but in the end the difference is not that great once you take the time to get to know the person. Now sure not everyone sees it that way but that's no reason not to live life. These people they didn't care what others think they just wanted to play basketball and weren't about to let what's missing stop them instead they turned what's there into all powerful tools. And the result was just Beautiful.
Keep in mind that's an extreme case and on a beach if you're a bit too fat or a bit too skinny or have a few marks on your body you don't need immense will power to enjoy yourself all you need to know is that there is people who have it much worse and yet are making more of it than you as long you let circumstances dictate and limit your life.
First, I think the swim suit in the second photo is really cute. Second, I admire your thought processes. Third, I voted A. I absolutely oppose inhibiting people. Some people have definite failings when it comes to personal taste. "Attention Walmart shoppers." There are things that I would rather NOT see. But I have a magical ability to look away if I want to. It's natural for people to people watch and to judge other's appearances. You can't do anything about that. But in the end, people have a right to go out, enjoy themselves, and ignore the judging eyes of others.

Kind of where my thinking was headed... human beings Seem to naturally have all kinds of contradictory ways of asserting themselves in the works internally and externally... which I think means we have control. And the fact we can choose to place energy in judging stuff that has no impact on really anything is disturbing
but the main problem I had was the idea people think aesthetics should trump - well life basically.
The argument is well stay in shape then wear what you want but I don’t think attitudes are diff if you just have some disorder. Using morality to justify preference is what bothers me.

I was heavy for many years and have lost a lot of weight but am still self conscious of my fat ass so I don't wear anything more revealing than I must. I wore a suit in high school for GAA swimming and people were getting their harpoons out and ready whenever I got in the pool. I don't know if scars, depending on severity, are any worse than cellulite and vericose veins. Here is what I would wear to help hide my waist. Of course I don't have any burns or scars or I may wear tights too.
You have the right to wear whatever we want, in exchange, we have the right to judge you. If you don't want to be judged cover the parts of your body that would be questionable. I wished everyone was the same size back then tbh, I'm tired of this stop judging me nonsense. This is such a Western thing, if you were in an Asian country, you would get blasted. Criticism is there so you don't eat like a pig and put limits on yourself.
I do judge people who are overweight or obese at the beach. They look fucking terrible, however, my opinion of them doesn't matter. If they are enjoying themselves and having a good time, they shouldn't care about the judgement of others.( Assuming they aren't doing anything wrong) If they do care about people judging their bodies, they should stay home until they overcome their insecurity.
Everyone judges, its what humans do. We discriminate and judge. A lot of people lie and say they dont, but its impossible not too. Its how people understand the world. Expecting people to not judge is a ridiculous notion.

For example. There are places where kids are force fed from when they are young so they will be fat. Even if they lose weight their body will be wrecked. And if you knew that I doubt you’d feel differently about seeing them in a bikini.

There is a million reasons why someone might be fat. There is a million reasons why someone might feel insecure. I can try to understand why people look or feel the way they do, but its too much
I will judge someone on their looks, but I won't mistreat them are call them fatty. I will quickly look, judge and carry on.
They should just embrace their weight, do something to make themselves feel secure and then swim. They can't stop people from judging, but they can change the way they feel about it.

If someone is blocking my view I can't just unlook it although I might judge in my mind but I am not the one going and talking to them and make them feel bad unless they are just rolling over to near to me like putting sand on me unintentionally I give 0 thought as what they wearing its a beach wear and if they like they wear it but they should not completely display it infront of me like there should be distance and I have no complaints it's there life let then enjoy they are not some deformed creatures lol just have more skin that's it

Implement fat tax, take away obese people's access to organ transplants, and charge them extra for the burden they put on the healthcare. Then I'll consider not shitting on them.

There’s no way of knowing why a person is heavy or if they are in the process of losing. You can be shaming someone who was literally forced to get fat. Like screwed in the ankles tightened if they do t say five pounds of butter a day.
So what if I don't know? I will be right in the majority of the cases. I don't care if I misjudge someone, if my judgement doesn't apply to them, they shouldn't even have a reason to get offended in the first place because I'm clearly not judging them.
I don't get offended if a woman says that all men cheat, or that "all men are the same", because I know those things aren't true about me in particular and I'm certainly not going to defend those to whom those generalizations do apply, so why should I care.
I don't care if they are at the beach, but they definitely have to look at their body and dress in accordance with it. There is a saying- "dress for the body you have, not for the body you want", it exists for a reason.
A fat woman in bikini is no different from a yokel at Walmart with an exposed ass crack, or a street thug with his undies pulled down to his knees. Do you apply the same "don't look" rhetoric in those cases? Or do you judge those people?
We live in a society, and when we are sharing public space, we have responsibility towards others to maintain at least the basics of common decency.
People like to believe that appearance is a function of morality, that aesthetics is a form of social good, that they have a right to have the world not show them anything they don't like, and that BMI is an accurate measurement of general health. None of these things are true.
But actual morality requires introspection, and confronting the possibility that you might be wrong. That's too hard for the narrow-minded, so they cling to the mindset of what they call "moral superiority" and the rest of us all "being a judgmental asshole".
I chose "I'm unhappy with my body and I don't go out" because that is mostly the case. I used to be blind without my glasses so it didn't matter what others wore to swim in, I couldn't see :)
On the odd occasion I do go swimming (maybe once a year, if that) I just wear some trunks and think people should wear whatever feels comfortable. Swimming or sunbathing is a personal thing, not a fashion show. If you think people are fat and ugly, that's your problem, not mine.

To answer your question, you've created a false dichotomy in order to make a point that isn't a correct one-- people who are grossly fat and overweight don't need to wear a "tent," just because wearing bikinis or whatever is gross and hurts the eyes of everyone around them. It's also a logically fallacious argument to say "they can wear whatever they want" uhhh... yeah duh, they CAN wear it; their literal ability to wear a thing isn't at issue. It's whether they SHOULD, not whether they CAN. And succinctly, no, they shouldn't.
