What is the deal with people judging bodies at the pool- just another area of life. Are all imperfect people supposed to wear tents ⛺️ everywhere 🤨?

Many answers were in my opinion self centered and and unrealistic.” I don’t want to see it so it is wrong”.

The illogic often being “ If our of shape, should not be seen.

Dont look? 🤔👀🤷‍♀️

Do you think I want to see a strangers butt cheeks in my face? I surely do not. Solution- I just don’t stare bc I don't know what I’ll see and do not want want to find out.
Problem.
Solved.

I’m just wondering... for ex A burn victim is fit in shape thin but you find their burns unsightly, do you say they should not leave their house?

I’m guessing you would not say this, most likely not THINK it... likely, if reasonably polite, will avoid staring. If you are enlightened you will be ale to look and see a person not scars.. few people will say “stay home forever. Maybe extreme narcissists 🤷‍♀️

So seriously, why can’t you do the same for people in Bikinis... Do you seriously think anyone not perfect -in your opinion- should walk around in a tent?

bikinis are cooling. That’s a big motivator -not simply showing off. why shouldn’t a large person be cool. No one knows why anyone is in the shape they are in snd who cares anyhow it’s not your body.

(let alone the fact being large doesn’t mean you will look bad. Inversely being thin doesn’t mean you will look good.)

Swim wear should be primarily about swimming. What kind of world Is it when where attire comes before the activity you are dressed for.

I think this seve dependence on aesthetic is spiritually bankrupt and 💯 demoralizing.

I can’t claim superior there bc I tend to avoid showing my body when I swim due to scars. Length I go to - it’s absurd.

I think people should wear what they like and I genuinely mean that. Not just saying it to feel better or look good.
I say people should wear what they like but I do not believe it.
I think anyone I find unattractive , should wear a tent or stay home forever.
I am unhappy with my body and I don’t go out.
I’m unhappy with my body but I go out and live my life.

... But I certainly will not condemn anyone with courage to wear what they comfortable in.

And honestly what do you want people to wear -A moo moo? There is very little diff between a one piece and a bikini. In both cases skin is still shown, body is still seen.

I think what is deep down in this attitude is I dont think certain people should be allowed to go to my swim area. Which is really the kind of thinking that when promoted, gets us into world wars. Bc it’s sociopathic = dangerous.

It’s as if there is no shame button with some people. Moral accountability in my opinion, is not simply not saying what you think out loud, but having the self awareness and moral fiber to actively monitor and control how sick your thinking is allowed to go. Even just Internally, where no one but you can see it. Thoughts are often prelude to action. What and how we think of each other matters. I find it disturbing how dehumanized People READ...

I wonder Do people THINK the Way they TYPE ☝️
