Why do idiots think walking around the city ( or public places in general) barefoot is risky when it ' s perfectly safe, healthy and much more normal?

I literally feel this strong urge to call them very mean names for their lack of intelligence. Imbecile, idiot, you name it. Getting triggered by the pics? Perfect! You better suck it up and accepted. BAREFOOT IS THE ONLY HEALTHY, NATURAL AND MORE IMPORTANTLY PERFECTLY SAFE AND MOST NORMAL way to walk around and I ain ' t accepting to be enslaved with your foot prisons. The only reason I keep a pair of shoes with me is to smack your mouth with it if you look at me the wrong way or react in any negative offensive way. Ask me where my shoes are and you will hear " here " while seeing green stars due to the fact you ' re smacked with the shoes I keep with me. You were warned.

To clarify, I ' m not telling anyone to go barefoot here. I ' m just asking why the duck they feel the need in real life to make a big deal out of it rather than minding their own business.

Remember shoe Nazis, first of all your opinion about imaginary risks was not asked, we ' re not children and we assume our actions, so telling us we will catch something, step on something and shut is such a waste of breath on your part and very unwelcome to us. I did this once because one of my flip flops got damaged so I decided to walk barefoot instead. I didn't find it very comfortable and I was extra careful because I didn't want to step on a glass or something sharp.

I see but my question was not an invitation for anyone to go barefoot. Perhaps the way I formulated it was misleading. What I meant was why people feel the need to treat me like I can ' t look after my feet and I ' m obliged to wear shoes when I can very well look after my feet and I ' m not obligated to wear or not wear anything? If I feel OK and safe when barefoot, others should not patronize. I ' m not made of egg shells.

In a well kept city or a places and beaches sure but I don’t think it’s a good idea to walk or run barefoot around the neighborhood with sharp objects lying and chilling around

Because I watch where I step. You know when I did step on a nail sticking through a plank? In my university practice days when I was doing field work and boots. You know what happened? It went right through the boots and fortunately I didn ' t step hard enough to get injured but it did hurt. I never stepped on anything dangerous while being barefoot though.

Yes because you can always see the tiniest slivers or glass, or can always see exactly where you’re feet are going, which takes your vision away from everything else around you.

Your skin after a while ( not very long ) adapts so it ' s not pierced by the tiniest sliver of glass and you also get almost a reflex of not letting your full body weight if you unconsciously touch something that feels like it can hurt you, but moving your foot further away. As for watching where you step, well, that should be a thing to care about, because if you don ' t you can step in a fucking hole in the ground and fall into a gap / chasm, shod or otherwise. Besides I ' m not even telling you to go barefoot or nothing. I ' m only telling y ' all that criticize barefoot people, babbling about how it ' s unsanitary and shut to fucking stop, because it ' s stupid and we know better. We also assumed our choices so if you think we ' re risking it something, it ' s in us, it ' s no concern to you, so why bother asking me where my shoes are and shut when it ' s clear I haven ' t chosen to wear any that time ( and many times ).
