If you're drinking it during your fasting time then you're wasting your time with IF because it's not only about calories, it's mainly about digestion. The way IF works is that certain things happen when your digestive system doesn't have to digest anything for a long time. That's where the benefits come from. The sugar in the drink even though it's only a small amount is breaking your fast because it has to be digested.

Sugary drinks don't really have that many calories.
It's like 50~100 kcal at most (depending on bottle/can size), it won't do away with most benefits of intermittent fasting.

They have a ton of sugar unless you get the zero calorie ones but then you are taking in artificial sweeteners.
