Thanks!
This was my New Years Resolution this year and I have lost 15 lbs successfully since January 10th! I work out 5-6 days a week (about an hour to an hour and a half each day) and incorporate the elliptical in my workout everyday. The first four months I counted fat and colories which I found very helpful because it really showed how much fat I was eating in a day and helped me to improve my eating habits when I discontinued counting calories. I used sparkpeople.com to count the calories and track my workouts everyday, I absolutely recommend it. My biggest piece of advice is to work out 5-6 times a week because even when you slip up on food, your body still feels and looks amazing. Don't give up, and take a photo of yourself every week to track your progress.
increase the time you are working out, cardio and a little strength training. Remember when doing cardio that it is your heart rate that needs to elevate to around 130-140 regardless of what you are doing, it can be dancing, biking running etc and you need to hold it there for at least 20 minutes. Shoot me a PM, and I will talk with you more about developing a work out plan and diet that works for you. I can guarantee you will meet your goals.
Run, or failing that, use a machine or walk. All the dieting and pills in the world isn't going to substitute for activity.
