My friend is fat. Does she have hope in finding a guy?

one of my best friends is bigger she's always been bigger, she's never had a boyfriend...i keep telling her the right one will come am I lying to her? she's very pretty and out going and she seems pretty confident for the way she looks...but she always asks me if I think she will ever find someone. its heart breaking she's a really good person, and its not cause she doesn't try I get her to come with me to the gym she's eats healthy she just can't lose the weight I feel really bad for her so guys could you ever see past looks to the person especially when she is really really great I love her so much but I don't want to keep giving her false hope ya know

simply put: your friend needs to lose weight. I'm a fat girl so I'm not putting her down because of her weight but the reality of the situation is she is gonna have a very hard time finding a guy at her size. I have it a little bit easier because I'm mixed and live in the south but even then I don't have it that easy as I did 30-40 lbs ago, but if she's a white girl in her late teens/early 20s that wants to date white guys? chile please she better lose the weight.

unless she has thyroid problems or is on meds she can lose the weight if she tries and stays consistent. I think she might eat healthy in front of people but then binges when no ones around. or she isn't very active and her calories in is way more than her calories out. or she's not consistent with her weight loss efforts. it has to be one of those issues because I doubt someone who eats healthy and exercises regularly would stay overweight/obese. I'm sorry but that's the real honest truth.

i'm not saying she'll be alone FOREVER, but she'll probably spend many a weekend alone if she doesn't get her weight together :/

Weight does matter, there's no denying that. Maybe she can try harder to lose a few pounds. But that odesn't mean she's going to be alone forever. just more patient than a skinnier girl.

I saw her picture, I would date her if she had a cool personality, was really funny and had this "sexiness" about her. What I mean is, graceful in her own way, stylish in her own way of dressing, had some elegance to her. My sister's friend is fat, but she's like that, and I always flirt with her and tell her I want to hook up but she's way older than me and we both know it won't work out but we still flirt and I still tell her we should get married some day. shes about 5'5 she's pretty so pretty I don't know how much she's wieghs but she's curvey for and thick I wouldn't call her morbidly obese or anything just bigger

she looks kinda maby like queen latifa not as tall but preportioned like that she's got big boobs and a bigger butt and hips but she's smaller in the waste still a littel thick ther but she has an hr glass shape

well that sucks...like everyone is going to get old and ugly someday it should matter more about who people are then how they look cause if you marry someone for looks and they are a complete bitch which I've seen before then when they are old your stuck with and old ugly bitch. instead of someone who will love you and take care of you ugh she's such a great girl I hate seeing her cry this sucks
