I have had tetanus shots, Depo Provera bc injections, trigger point injections as well as strong antihistamine injection called Aristacort to combat a severe reaction to poison ivy. I have also been give a dose of midazolam (relaxant like valium) before getting an epidural spinal injection for low back pain. Nothing to it at all.

Yes, the butt is the recommended place for some injections. If I recall, a tetanus shot is normally given in the butt.
