Do ingrown hair on ass cheeks go away on its own?

I made a mistake a few years ago to shave my butt. If I would of known that I was going get alil thicker hairs and ingrown I would of waxed or used hair removal creams. I recently started to use body scrubs all over my body and I scrub when I’m about to shave my body. I try not to shave my ass no more and decided I would start using hair removal cream and it has worked but I notice I started to get a lot bumps more than shaving and is annoying because I can’t reach my ingrown and sometimes I pick on them a lot and I get scabs. Should I leave them alone , do they go on its own what should I do : (

I have shaved my ass crack since I was maybe 12 13 I am now 30 hair doesn't grow thicker it may feel thicker because it's short but it's not. Ingrown hairs happen especially if you shave or w. e. definitely recommend popping w. e zit you get on your ass and cleaning the area throughly and putting neosporen on it afterwards. Then dont touch for a few days. Picking wise. Just keep re applying neosporen. If it still feels hot and sore you still have infection n go at it again. But it needs time to heal. Just make sure u shower daily. Also anytime u shave its best to scrub your crotch or ass wherever the day after so that you break up any skin that might be becoming an infected hair.

Are you Indian by chance? They have a higher instance of developing pilonidal cyst disease. Sometimes hairs get trapped in this cyst and an access forms. It is a chronic condition. Please get a medical opinion before assuming that it is simply an ingrown hair.

They don't grow in thicker. They are stiffer because they are shorter.
