How do you feel like when you have high fever?

For me it feels like my core body is heating up. Breathing would be extremely uncomfortable as I would be exhaling really warm air. It feels like my nostrils are burning. Yet my hands and legs maybe cold. It just feels really uncomfortable and painful.

P. S I'm currently having a bad fever of 40°Celsius. It's been few years since I had high fever last time. It's feels really uncomfortable. I won't come back here till I recover completely. I hope you understand.

Well I'm fine now. Thanks for your wishings everyone, it worked. The fever is gone but my body is aching a bit.

Basically it would l would have a headache in combination to having temperature increase, it would be extremely uncomfortable for me to sit in one place. I would rather be sleeping the entire time instead.

For your update, yes I can understand how frustrating it is to be unwell and so you should rest and recover before doing anything else

For me it's uncomfortable to do anything. Like any position is uncomfortable for me. Thankfully I don't have headaches but sometimes it feels dizzy.

Not a bad thing I would say lol. I just basically slept the whole day and was given more love by parents. No one there to scold me for not studying! And I didn't went school too!! Thank god as there were no free periods. Thanks by the way! I will recover by tomorrow morning completely!

Now it's 38°Celsius. Much better. I was literally panting that time and I actually made my sister type the post. I almost fainted feeling awfully dizzy too. This was one of the worst fevers I ever had.

Well it's 36°Celsius now!! I almost recovered. Just feeling weak to move.

Your thermometer may be a bit off or you miss read it. 36 is 96.8 F and 98.6 is considered normal; especially for a teenager.
