Do you feel like you are dying when you have medium to high fever? My family went into alert mode here. How is your familys reaction in such cases?

I feel it. Every. Single. Time.

The moment I told my parents, my dad went and brought Azithromycin tablet, which if you don't know, is an antibiotic. Essentially it does the job of white blood cells.

Along with Azithromycin, he also recommended me to take Cetirizine. Used for allergies.

My mom stepped in and recommended me to just take Paracetamol. She said lets watch how you react and then we will think.

She said to let your body's white blood cells do some job, and then we will see.

What is your family members reaction to cold, or fevers?

Never take two paracetamol tablets at a time. You are likely probable to go into hypoglycemia. If you supposedly take two or more tablets at a time, then make sure that you have a full stomach, as these medicines do not work on an empty stomach. At all.

Some people can work on two or more tablets, some cannot. I am talking about the normal 500mg variant. Not the 650 mg variant.

Throwing medication at a fever of unknown origin is dangerous. Taking antibiotics without knowing what kind of Bacteria it is (gram negative/gram positive) can cause the evolution of an antibiotic resistant bacteria.

aspirin , Tylenol, naproxen, or ibuprofen are all good fever reducers. So is a cool bath.

It is the resistant bacteria creation is why I do not like taking antibiotic unless extremely necessary.
I will definitely try the cool bath among the options you have given.

Just my opinion... I stay away from all of them, except I may try aspirin if I ever need it. Or most other natural herbs can be ok. Naproxen, ibuprofen, acetaminophen and most similar drugs are horrible for lomg term testosterone levels, and overall fertility.

But that's just me, I panick whenever I see drugs which I've labeled "chemical castrators", maybe it isn't that bad using for one time. I just recomend reading scientific studies on whichever chemical you want to use.

Of them all, aspirin seems to be the safest. But even that was shown to be anti androgenic. Paracetamol too. But again even the most popular herbs such as turmeric are potentially anti androgenic.

1. I rarely get a fever.

2. I am not married, I live with my girlfriend, and my mother is 91 years old. If I am sick, I never tell my mom until I have recovered. I don't want her to worry needlessly.

3. When I have a fever, I take ibuprofen 800 mg three times per day.
