I took salsa classes in 2016. Let me tell you brother... TOTAL clam fest! Nothing but females, from ear to ear! Tall females, too! Like 5'10", cause that's usually how professional female dancers look. I was the only male in my entire three month class.
So... There's that. Do with that information as you wish.

It's worth a try. It's fun. Learning anything new is fun. I did it, but got screwed over, it was mostly men... We had to switch around the few women. So that made it awkward. But if you're lucky, it will be mostly men. Which usually is.
