Personally I don’t think I smell awful.
My diet is pretty healthy and proportionate and I workout regularly.
I shower everyday unless for some reason I have to an emergency and HAVE to put on anything and head to where I need to be.
I do skin care , I wear lotions and sunscreen, I ONLY wear perfume and body lists if I showered because if you apply perfume and body mists when you’re not clean well.. you won’t smell really nice once you start to sweat.
Deodorant is super important.
I skip out on body shower gels and use dove soap instead because I’m allergic to body shower gels, and for feminine care , you know the drill..
.. for hair care I do the usual, shampoo, conditioner, sometimes I’ll do a hair mask every now and then to keep the moisture in my hair since I have a wavy curly combination, shea butter for hair, diffuse etc.
And the most important part BRUSHING MY TEETH. Oh my god I cannot leave the house without brushing my teeth. And if I do because of an emergency I wouldn’t even be able to talk Id feel gross lol.

Could be a better combo of typically having better hygiene or self care, as well as usually eating ‘cleaner’, if you will.

Not as common for women to grab a can of beer + fast food after work, both of which will negatively impact any body odour that there may be.

I would say it's largely hygiene, not just natural- objectively.

Usually, when I compliment my girlfriend that she smells good it's her shampoo, body wash, body spray, lotion, etc. but I think her actual scent, mixed with her pheromones' is also appealing to me (i. e. smell good).

So, for someone you're attached to, their smell may be part of the calculation.

Well most girls take better care to smell better as well but they also do specifically take better care of their bodies. They eat better, they have better hygiene, and they use perfume or whatever specifically intending to be as sweet and delicious as possible. It is pure torture in every way man has ever asked for torture from a woman.

I have to assume the basics: diet/ activity/ hygiene product use/ and hygiene product quality help a person smell better in general.

I knew some females who would use men's deodorant claiming it was stronger and worked better than women's deodorant. A female using enough of a good product and pairs that up with a "good inside" or healthy natural smell- will smell better than most men and women who just opt for just one of the basics mentioned above.

As far as waste goes, we know that no ounce of urine or puff of gas lol would actually smell BETTER than another. The same has to apply to the smell of a person.

Sweat is a form of waste and its potency will be determined by the type of intake of the body and the daily care of the body. Does one gender smell better than the other? no

potency will be determined by their type of intake and their responses to waste aka the basics listed above.

A guy has a bolder scent, but I like it. Women have this acrid sharp sent that burns the nose unless they have flowery shampoo and lotions, especially when sweaty.

I don't know where this "naturally smells better" myth comes from.

Sugar and spice and everything nice goes the nursery rhyme. And it is true if take a good deep sniff between a woman's breasts.

Of course they use perfume too. So I think there is a natural scent of a woman plus all those man made scents in addition.

I stink if I dont spray something. A shower isn't enough. Deodorant isn't enough. I need to have perfume on as well. I dont get how so many people smell good naturally

Omfg I prefer no chemicals. I get overwhelmed. If so, then I like it as light as possible. You end up smelling too many smells at once. Hair spray, deodorant, perfume, skin cream. Too much for me.
