Hey. I know what you're going through. I have major major anxiety as well. I know it's very hard to control. What I have done is I've seen a doctor. I really am on anxiety medication. Talk to some professionals about counseling. It helps me when I have anxiety as I like to be in Closed off Tight spaces. I have 2 body pillows Wrap-around me as tight as it can get. So I feel closed in and my movement is restricted. put a blanket over top. I lay in a comfortable position. Usually on my side and half on my stomach. I focus on one object in my room. I think about nothing but that object And take slow deep breaths in and out multiple times until my mind calms down. Weighted blankets help as well.

553 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Accept that you can't change them. I get anxious before I take a test, but once I am taking it, I am calm. I can either answer the question or I can't. There's no more studying I can do once I sit down and take the test. I have done all the things I can do to prepare. I am also calm once I've submitted the test. I've done all I can to do well on it. I can't review and change any answers at this point. So I don't worry because the sucesses are not in my power anymore. The die have been cast.

I used to have a little league coach that would tell us " it's not whether you win or lose it's how you play the game... and honestly even that doesn't really matter that much". I guess I credit him for molding me into the don't-give-a-s*** person I am today. 🤣🤣🤣

I too have really bad anxiety, overthink, and overanalyze things lol. I haven't gotten over it, but I have gotten better at controlling it, when I do have really bad anxiety I try to calm myself down and do some breathing, throw water on my face, or just lay down. Sometimes it doesn't make it go away but it does make it a little easier.
I still overanalyze things and overthink, so when you get the answer on how to stop that lol lmk

The 'Serenity Prayer' is my go to reminder for similar situations that apply:
"God, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, grant me the courage to change the things I can, and grant me the wisdom to know the difference."
00 Reply You need to fill your life with activities you enjoy.
Having anxiety comes from thinking too much and from empty, boring unenjoyed time.it differs from someone to someone what he/she enjoys.
thats why you need to ask yourself, what do you like to do?
have you been taking care of yourself and spoiling yourself lately?treat yourself like the most person you ever and you will ever love, thats when you will get over your fears
00 ReplyYou could try and find something that helps with your anxiety or something you can do when you start to feel the anxiety rising. Some likes to write, listen to music, draw, exercise and so on. Don't know anything why you've anxiety but talking with someone or medication helps some people. Everyone has different things that helps them. It's not just one universal fix that works for all.
00 ReplyTry talking to a doctor about options. Exercise can help a little but you might need a low dosage medication to really help balance things out, for stuff that is completely out of your control.

Acceptance. Acceptaning that you can't change it, you also don't have to and it's also not your responsibility, you only have to take care of how you handle situations and if you can't handle it, let it go and move on
00 Reply - +1 y
You might need meds or therapy or both. That really sucks. I get that way but not as bad as you. Other than that maybe just try and tell yourself that you can’t change the past? Also try and listen more to your intuition.
00 Reply If you know that you can’t change it, why would you even try to change it? If It already happened you can’t do anything about it. It is what it is, accept those things and move on. Don’t try to think too much. That’s all.

Laugh out loud when it happens and just shake your head and smile while thinking about everything else you are grateful for.
10 Reply Get anxious about things you control, not worth wasting your health on things you can't and are out of your control.
00 ReplyTry tackling your anxieties by confronting them with baby steps. Asking strangers what time it is, etc for social anxiety

This is also good and bad advice might work for you but not them
You know that thing called an inner saboteur? Tell it to go F&*+ itself. Think positively. Think best possible outcomes and stick to it.

I don't know. I'm in the same boat for almost thirteen years. Let's hope you will have a better chance to deal with this than I have.
