3 is not suggested. That is a way to speed up thinning of teeth and loss of enamel... lol.

If you want any extra cleaning, use mouthwash and floss throughout the day.

After you eat, especially sugary and acidic foods, rinse water or drink water immediately after... you can use mouthwash to kill the bacteria... wait some time before brushing teeth after eating such thing. Why? Because the acid softens the enamel so you wait for it to reset then you brush...

I clean my teeth twice a day, morning and evening. But if I’m at home, like the weekends I’ll brush three times. Also I use a water flosser as well. Like this one here.

I have never heard three. Is this based on three meals? 🤔 eat once a day, Chew sugar free fun during the day and brush in the morning and at night. If I’m home I’ll bush after eating but I’m usually not home at that point. Tho I hear brushing too much is nit good bc it can ware down enamel. Brushing disrupts things so you can get in there & clean but too much disruption is not better.

For ages I did what ''they'' recommended - and guess what: my teeth went old and some failed. You can't cheat nature.

I brush once a day now; plus each time when I ''don't feel right''.

@LovingLoverReturned the dentists could not figure out why my back teeth were deteriorating. They did many tests and could find nothing wrong but hereditary. They prescribed me a higher fluoride content toothpaste. You could almost see them deteriorate faster. The fluoride was eating my teeth. So now, 10 crowns later, I use non fluoride and they always say I have perfect teeth.
