Does this count as gym clothes? My boyfriend argued that it is too revealing?

I don't think it's so much an issue of too revealing but rather that it would be very uncomfortable to work out in. That would be difficult to move in as well as unbearably hot and sticky, I would think. Hot, tight, plastic faux-leather? That's a recipe for heat stroke even if you unzip the front.

This can't be a serious question. There is no legitimate reason to wear that to the gym other than to get attention. Anyone who claims that it's legitimate gym wear is rationalizing.

That is not a gym outfit. There's no way for you to perspire as you work out. And yes, women do perspire.
