May seem like a stupid/extremely stupid question, but I've never really went to the gym in my lifetime, and the few times I did (usually forced and brief) I literally can't remember...

I do go on walks, run a bit, and swim, so I'm not totally out of shape, but I've never really seriously gone to the gym.

That also means... I've never really bought "gym specific clothes," lol.

Above we have an outfit of mine... not exactly gym specific, but it's a nice, breathable, casual outfit!

I'm not a fan of pants except for in the winter, so I usually wear shorts 24/7. But those are athletic shorts. Usually for walks in the park.

The top isn't athletic, but it offers support for me, and it's super comfortable.

Most women seem to be wearing pants to the gym these days though... yoga pants, track pants, sweatpants, etc. Will I get weird looks for being the only woman in shorts?

And combined with my rather skimpy top, too... my bare arms, stomach, AND legs might be a bit much...

For the record I dress this way all the time, and have no problem... but we're talking gym scenario here.
Yes it is. No, you're not showing too much skin.
No it isn't. Yes, you are showing too much skin.
