For toning yes but if u wanna gain mass then u need to go heavy and need 3 days rest days. Assuming ur doing it and lifting light yes u can do every day. But for few months u might have to struggle with slight muscle soreness.
If I wear 2kg ankle weight on each ankle then lift 8 pound dumbells in each hand that's all the weight I got. I cannot afford heavier weights. Can I grow my glutes with that?
Most muscles need at least 2 or 3 days gap to recover from muscle tears u create in gym thats why push pull legs has 2 days gap. And training any muscles needs 2 days recovery especially legs.

U can grow ur glutes with it focus on isometric exercises. Although i would suggest heavier as weight training gives faster results
Hip thrusters and lunges are great for ur glutes and hamstrings.
Weighted or non weighted
These are compound exercise kings when it comes to targetting rear side of legs both hamstrings and glutes.
