What's the fastest way you ever lost weight?

sometimes I see girls who never step into a gym yet they lose weight and fast...girls how did you lose weight so fast? I wanna lose weight...i'm 132lbs and 5ft5"

I eat more than 2,300 calories a day and I still lose weight. It's all about your body type. Trust me, I hate it. I'd do anything to have curves. I desperately, everyday, try to gain weight. It's quite ridiculous actually. Girl, you are at a great weight. I'd do anything to be there.

If you are still intent of losing weight, just watch what you eat. Never eat less than 1,500 calories (if you're younger than 18 years) or less than 1,200 calories (over 18 years). It's extremely damaging to your metabolism. I know girls who never/ rarely eat and they have to constantly watch what they eat, because if they eat just a little bit more, their weight goes back up. The healthiest way to lose weight is through lifestyle change. Drink a lot of water, eat a lot of vegetables, healthy fats, and fruits. Cut down on the sweets and junk food. Also be sure to exercise: strengthening, cardio, and aerobic exercises are all great for your health!

People who workout and lose weight over a longer period of time are more successful in maintaining their new, lower weight.

When I cut out anything with added sugar and flour in it, I dropped weight immediately.

Basically, no sweets, no processed stuff at all, no bread, very little dairy.

Breakfast would look something like- egg over easy, oatmeal and a piece of fruit

Lunch- steamed veggies, some protein and a salad or a piece of fruit.

Dinner- salad, protein and veggies.

I did that and I weighed and measured everything so I knew exactly how much I was eating.

Youll be surprised how many things have added sugar in them- High fructose corn syrup, fructose, glucose, sucrose- all sugar. I would also limit or eliminate aspartame and any artificial sweetener.

A lot of it comes down to genetics and your body type. Some people (girls and guys) don't ever have to exercise and will always be skinny. However, they have to be careful because being skinny does not mean they are healthy.

The best thing to do is to try and be healthy. Don't worry about numbers because that is a game you will always feel you are losing. Focus on staying active by going to the gym, playing sports or any other ways to exercise. Also focus on eating healthy and keeping the junk to a minimum.

I've lost 60lbs since July of last year, never stepped into a gym, but I basically lost my appetite for food by working as a cook at a restaurant, seeing what people pay $10 for, all dripping with grease and butter and oily sauces... No thanks... Hopefully soon I'll finally break 200 lbs, which would be the first time I can recall weighing less than that in a decade. Basically, stop eating meat... lol.

Ummm not exactly... I eat cereal, milkshakes, pizza (esp. pepperoni pizza), etc, I just eat a lot less than I used to... A lot less. I just don't feel hungry though, most of the time, so y'know. But yeah, I can't stomach burgers, chicken, bacon, eggs, sausage, steak, hot dogs, or most fried foods and some fish.

well I guess your method works for you...maybe I should cut of certain foods from my diet and run and burn more calories than I eat...everyone seems to give me the same advice..i will follow :)

You really shouldn't lose weight fast, though :P 1-2 pounds a week is ideal. Those girls have intense workout routines that they probably won't stick with for the rest of their life, so when they stop, they gain the weight back.

By the way, 132 lbs at 5'5" is really healthy. If you don't FEEL healthy, just try to eat better and do mild exercise.

I lose weight incredibly fast, which I think has a lot to do with genetics and my body type.

I just eat well and exercise 4-5 times a week (light weights and running/walking) when I want to lose weight. Which I need to re-start again now :S

Really, I weigh about the same thing... why do you want to loose weight and more importantly why fast...you shouldn't be losing much, if any at all...

Dance...that's what I do, keeps you tone without looking bulky :)
