Does anyone else get attacked by mosquitoes like crazy around this time of year?

I have 14 mosquito bites that have turned into welts... 🥴

Only the female mosquito bite and sucks blood. She uses the blood from a host to raise her offspring. They also tend to bite people who have o blood types. People with high cholesterol levels also report getting bit as well.

Mosquito's love me and always have. I am always getting bit and no one else around me get's bit.

It seems I have something wrong with my mast cells in my body. They are there to give your body histomine. Mine give off too much hystomine. Therefore I am allergic to mosquito bites and the itch and puff up.
I have a prescription antihistamine now and I take one every day.

Sounds like you have skeeter syndrome.


Go around your house and dump out anything that is holding rain water.


Follow up by using a mosquito fogger on the perimeter of the house.


Invest in an indoor mosquito trap if they’re getting inside.

I am killing any mosquito that come to my house, but they can attack when I am sleeping.

You're lucky. They're popular in the southwest region of the U. S. and other parts of course!

I live in Newport Beach and I know Vector Control has spotted them around at times, but I have never seen any.

I used to. Now I eat a bit more garlic and don't have as much of a problem anymore.

yes, they love me too. I think it's the sugar content in our blood. Maybe if we cut back on sweets, they'll find a new victim
