I try new diet techniques regularly and I exercise like 3 or 4 times a week (mainly cardio). Still, I couldn’t lose weight as much as I want. I’m 5’ 2’’ and 174 lbs. Any advice? ☹

Diet is the single most effective tool you have at your disposal. But it's not an overnight or even over a month fast fix. It's a lifestyle modification, and it should be permanent if you want to see results. You can't just stop eating a certain food (like soda pop) for a couple of weeks and expect results.
A healthy and reasonable weight loss goal is roughly a pound a week, or 4 lbs per month. I would not recommend losing more than twice that (you will increase your likelihood of stretch marks that will never go away).
A healthy diet means:
Little to no: fast food restaurants, processed/packaged food, soda pop, wheat/flour products. Lower carb intake, especially processed sugar type stuff.
Mostly: fresh fruits and vegetables, meats/fish/&c should be in raw form and cooked by you or someone just prior to consumption. Focus on getting more fiber, protein, and healthy fats (nuts, avocados, &c.).
Again, this is not a "I'll do this for a month, then go back to eating crap" solution. Your body will return to a fat state. This also will need to be supplemented with regular exercise of about 30-60 minutes a day where your heart rate is double your resting heart rate or more.

This is just a very brief explanation and there is a lot more to diet. I enjoy researching diet and constantly make minor adjustments in my own, but for the most part I eat 90% the same things consistently. Also check out fermented foods like kombucha, Kim chi, kefir.
Losing weight and getting a thinner body can be a challenging process, and it can take time and persistence to achieve your goals. Here are some tips that may help:
1. Focus on creating a calorie deficit: In order to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. This can be achieved by reducing your calorie intake through healthy eating habits and increasing your calorie burn through exercise.
2. Incorporate strength training: While cardio is great for burning calories, incorporating strength training into your routine can help build muscle and increase your metabolism, which can help you burn more calories even when you're at rest.
3. Be consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to losing weight and getting in shape. Try to stick to a regular exercise routine and healthy eating plan, and avoid fad diets or extreme calorie restriction.
4. Find support: It can be helpful to have a support system when trying to lose weight. Consider enlisting the help of a friend, family member, or personal trainer to help keep you accountable and motivated.
5. Consult a healthcare professional: If you're having difficulty losing weight or have any underlying health conditions that may be affecting your weight loss, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for guidance and support.
Remember that weight loss is a journey, and it's important to be patient and kind to yourself throughout the process. Focus on making healthy lifestyle choices that you can sustain over the long term, and celebrate your progress along the way.
Cut out gluten and diary from your diet. Always have water next to you. (In the car, on a walk, next to the bed, to work etc).
Drink tea before you eat breakfast. And make sure to always get 8 hours of sleep.
Now I'm 5'2 and always been underweight. I wish I weighted more though..
Thank you for MHO!
Loosing weight is 80-90 % nutrition and the rest is exercise. Eat appr 200 to 400 cal below your basal metabolism multiplied by your activity level and you will loose weight.

Definitely walk. Walk every chance you get at least a half hour to 45 minutes per day. It's aerobic. Bike on a stationary bike if you want but get your heart rate up aerobic level. Cut out the carbohydrates and eat lean proteins. Lots of fruit and vegetables as snacks and at meals. Also talk to your doctor because sometimes your metabolism is off. You can get B12 shots for metabolism. Something called cortisol is produced by stress. It causes weight gain. Try to eliminate stress by meditating.
A low carb diet and cardio should do the trick. The important thing is not to starve yourself otherwise your body will develop a defense mechanism and store more fat. Divide your meals into 5 or 6 but in small portions so your body feel full all the time which will motivate it to burn fat. And in your cardio use the heat technique, change the speed constantly. And the most important thing is to check your weight on weekly basis not daily and keep a clear relaxed head and not stress out. The result will take time but you’ll get there.
It might be a genetic thing buttt I have heard that processed food isn’t good when your tryna loose weight and almost everything is processed these days, maybe your best bet for a healthier diets are delis and farmers markets.
Another thing could be alcohol consumption. Alcohol is literally terrible when your tryna loose weight it’s like having a fast food only diet!
Also if you were a huge alcoholic at one point (no judgement here) there is a possibility that alcohol is the culprit, I forgot what it’s called but when I was having problems with my male area I had to get an ultrasound to make sure there was no torsion. I remember the doc/nurse telling me all about how people that drink lots of alcohol can can some kind of area inflamed ( I forgot which one) but she was telling me that some kind of fluid gets built up
Do share what sort of diets have you tried and on currently.
Also what type of cardio and what intensity are you doing?
For women in general the best way to lose weight are Tabata or Les Mills GRIT or HIIT workouts.
Nowadays you don’t have to exercise or diet to look skinny all you have to do is the following. If you want to look skinny hangout with fat people.
Sustainable eating habits. Diets don’t work because they are unrealistic standards. You need healthy replacements that you like. For example instead of chips and soda. How about fruits
I think you should try weightlifting instead of cardio and you should not put too much stress on your body by constantly trying new methods
Cut your carbs and sugar. Increase your protein and walks.
You need to be getting rid of more calories that you're taking in.
So eat low calorie foods and do cardio.
Consider cardio supplementary, though. The best and most effective way to lose weight is to change the calories you intake.
Get a personal trainer to give you a workout regimen. That's what I did to get in shape for wrestling in highschool, of course I was already skinny.
Solid diet plan
Solid workout routine
Consistent sleep
Cut out the distractions
I've lost quite a bit of weight using the stair climber
I think your body is in perfect shape.
Diet is a big part of it.
