I work out to look good naked. You see yourself the most naked, and it makes you feel good. Other people get to see me naked, too, and they certainly like what they see. There is a certain unique confidence that comes from knowing that under your clothing you are a piece of hard-body eye candy and women will have starving eyes for it.
I work out to be strong. If you are strong, you can do more things and do it easier. I don’t wanna call a friend or ask a stranger for help carrying something if i can simply do it myself, also like being someone people can rely on physically.
I work out to have endurance. I’m certainly not a marathon runner by a cheap-shot, but if the stuff hits the fan somewhere, I can be five miles away in a hour if i genuinely want it. And of course, endurance has benefits in other more intimate aspects of life as well certainly.
I work out to be healthy. Genetically, you both have bad genes and good genes. There’s no one who has 100% bad genes or 100% good genes, with genetics you use with what you have. You have no control over it, but you sure as hell have control over your physica-self and the habits you are used to.
I work out to still have a very high quality of life & somewhat enjoyment of it all as I age. I don’t intend to be in a rocking chair when I am 60. I plan to still be scuba diving off the coast of Maui or surfing waves by the coast of Hawaii like i’m still in my 20’s.
I work out because I love it. Only certain things in life are better, i think, emotionally, mentally and physically, than being under the bar struggling to get weights up, than pushing yourself for that last 5 minutes of aerobic, or coming in for that last mile to be the winner in the story. The focus and self-discipline work-outs have given me has improved every part of my life, and i love it for the experience itself as well as its benefits such as having women notice you & mention it though you shouldn’t let it stroke your ego too much because you’ll take it for granted and might turn into a arrogant prick.
Most imporant, it’s part of my daily routine and lifestyle. I strongly believe that a strong man needs to have self-discipline and a routine, it’s what keeps you running like a machine and keeps you trying to push yourself to be that best version of yourself.

Lose weight, then stay fit. Maybe if I had a girlfriend, maybe some of it would be to stay as attractive to her as I can be. It's also because it looks better on stage. So far, I haven't found anything I really like doing and can keep doing. I don't like dancing, I don't enjoy the treadmill, though it's better than biking. At one time the Wii was ok, but I got too used to it, and it was less of a work out.
I get bored easily. I don't go to the gym. Ideally, I'm looking for inexpensive stuff that is low pressure on my muscles. Maybe swimming. I don't know about dancing. I'm not great with it, and I don't like it; I'd just do it to make it less embarrassing on any girlfriend I would have.
A little bit of both, though mostly because I don't want to be fat again. I originally started exercising because I was obese, unhappy with my looks and appearance, and most importantly, my dad's side of the family has almost every health condition: diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol... I refused to be popping pills at the age of 30 so I started working out. Plus I figured working out would also help with my bad self esteem and terrible luck with dating.
And as I saw the results, it went from, "I'm doing this for my health" to, "Man, I like being in shape," to, "Being fit and looking good is nice!" And now it's more of an addiction! I tell my friends there are way worse and unhealthy addictions than exercising; that's for sure! Plus I really do feel good after a good workout.
I don't enjoy working out. I do it when I need to lose weight after a big meal in some party or when I gained some weight. Like now, I am working out three times a day so that I can lose 4 kgs in two weeks. I am of 49.5 kgs currently and no way I'm touching the 50's! I want to have a weight of 45 kgs. For me, I enjoy dancing, that's my usual way of staying fit but I like the warm and sore feeling after working out too. I'm also working on gaining that smooth 11 abs.

Well, playing with my kids is a light workout itself, as they're young, and I have a lot of them. So working out helps me keep pace with them more, then have more energy left for working, and relaxing more. I don't really gain weight, and I've done bodybuilding before to have that cut/muscled look, I'm not looking to slay poontang like dracula through the ottomans, so it isn't important to me past staying healthy, and energetic.
I do it for both purposes not to impress anyone but to better myself. It makes me feel good about myself and that’s happiness right there
I workout a ton because for me, it's an escape. It exposes your limits and before you know it, another person takes over and you feel like you're ontop of the world.
You really can't beat it.To look fit and be healthy. Self care is very sexy to me.
I just do it for chicks... like the one in the picture. Oh gawd so yummy. I like actually impressing when I take my clothes off. Nothing feels better than a chick just had to squeeze my pictorial muscles with that look on their face.
My number one reason has always been to be more capable in a fight. Health and being able to still do physical things as I get older is the next motivation, and third would be because it can reduce stress/make me feel better mentally.
A bit of both. Mostly to lose weight/build strength, but I do also enjoy it, it gets me out the house and makes me feel good because I’m working towards a goal.
I've always worked out to train for something specific. I've never done it for looks. Most of the time I get exercise just doing physical activities I want to do.
To stay fit and gain strength (not mass. For my sport I need lean strong muscles) and of course I enjoy it a lot
I do it, because I know it's a good habit, so I discipline myself to be consistent, but I guess that links closest with staying fit.
I don't workout anymore, but I liked the feeling of being sore, working hard, and getting stronger
I still have an excellent high metabolism , which keep my weight fixed even with large amounts of food. I am active but high workout is too much for me. Then I would have to consume stuff like crazy. I hour of swimming then I have to eat three people's food.
All these guys working out to impress girls are ridiculous.
I don't do it for women. I do it for men.I did it to boost my ego. Which isn't a bad thing because I didn't rely on it to boost my ego. Haven't worked out in half a year & I'm doing fine.
It's both really. It starts out as just to stay fit but it eventually becomes something you enjoy doing.
I don't ''work out'' - because my weight is right, because I'm fit enough and because I do NOT enjoy it.
Besides: fitness craze is consumerism and/or vanity :)
I do it to improve my appearance and to maximize my life span. Sometimes it’s also for entertainment cause I’m bored.
Working out is a lot like how dating usually goes for me because there's one part of me that loves it and another part of me that would rather do something else.
I do it to keep busy, not much for sitting around.
I Workout to stay fit. Staying fit keeps you physically young, especially if you do yoga
