My left side of the body is quite weak as compared to right...
The max weight i can lift with my left hand doesn't put any strain on my right side...

YOu don't want to do that because all the minor stabilization muscles (largely in core) that you use during those exercises are going to receive vastly different amounts of workout and that can lead to injury due to the resulting imbalance
Lift as heavy as your left can do, do more of them until it can keep up with the right. That's pretty normal actually.
Well the idea is to balance out your weak side, not gonna do that using different weights
And what if i do more reps from the right...
I'm not seeing any gains on the right side
You probably won’t for a while, that’s the point. Get your weak side to catch up
Ok... thnx
Sure, though I don't know if you'll "catch up" or if it'll keep peserving the size/strength difference.
Track your progress and size for a few months and see if your approach seems to be helping.
If you're doubtful, talk to a trainer or physio about getting your sides equalized.
I feel like it’s normal for your left side to be a bit weaker than your right side.
Actually its not a bit... i've been through heart surgery that's why it is weaker...
And i've been lifting weights and i can see results on my left side as it gets more strain while there's no effect on the right arm or shoulder
Oooh I see! In that case it’s probably okay to use different weights on both sides
Sure.. thnx for your response
You’re welcome :)
