What can I do about my sex addiction?

I think I might have a sex addiction and it is affecting my job. Why could that be and sometimes I can make impulsive decisions. Could I have a mental illness that causes this? I might have Borderline Personality Disorder. Can Borderline Personality Disorder cause sex addiction that causes me to make impulsive decisions that is affecting my job? Or am I just a normal girl that likes sex and I should ignore this?

I met a gorgeous lady online who had a sex addiction. It cost her her marriage, her kids and her family, but she couldn't stop. I laugh at the dorks on this site that talk about "body count" and "sluts". They have no idea how it is in the real world. They live in an imaginary world that is the perfect world for THEM. This is the crazy thing. She went to the sex club to NOT have sex. She told me how proud she was to be able go ONE day without sex. I met her for coffee. She was just a normal person. I have the uncanny trait of being one of those people that others want to talk to. But not just talk to, but they spill the beans and tell me things I wish they didn't tell me. I naturally like to fix stuff. But all the king's horses, and all the king's men, couldn't fix her. Some things are broken beyond repair. So all I had to offer was friendship.

Some people with ADHD are very impulsive.

And because their brain lacks enough dopamine (your pleasure center part of your brain) they are constantly trying to get something to give them pleasure to make the dopamine they are lacking and sex addiction is one thing they do.

I know this from real life experiences with someone I knew.

He was addicted to porn, sweets,. Always eating sweet things, cookies, chocolate candy bars, ice cream, you name it.

Maybe you should talk to a psychologist who specializes in this and not these jokers on here. If you make irrational and decisions, you need to get that under control before it gets you dead.
