Yes, it severely affects my attraction to them. Yes, I would suggest losing weight. I'll still love her personality but physical contact would cease due to loss of attraction. Being someone who is in good shape, I expect the same in my partner.
I fell in love with my girlfriend not a number on a scale, if she's still the same person as when I fell in love it doesn't affect anything.

i'd ask what's wrong...healthy, balanced people don't gain weight unless they start to use food to fill an emotional void
as long as its not a gross lvl of fat. Like obese then its ok
