Should people be allowed to practice medicine if clearly terrified of the opposite genders medical issues?

My local urgent care lost one of those rare special people who had years of experience both in the ER and outpost care. She had a knack of watching you as you settled in and started explaining your problems and nailing the cause. Carried around a laptop, listened and wrote detailed notes. Always had some thoughtful questions. She was there 8 years and decided to move out of state.

The replacement is her polar opposite. Literally twitching to have to listen to even mild woman's issues. Takes zero notes. And lies just to bolt out of the room. Relax man. It's just a prescription renewal. My listed doctor won't see me until June... so this is what I have to deal with. Report the guy or go stalking my old UC professional. I'm all out of frequent flyer miles at the moment. 😏

Well, this new doctor does sound like a mis-fit when it comes to women's issues. You mention that this is an urgent care center. You might find a doctor in a regular office? Urgent care doctors are more geared to just that, urgent care. Just a thought.

I have an appointment. Thing is my insurance requires copay so didn't my want to pay an ER after this idiot just to get an urgent and obvious prescription.

That was my question to the desk. He's evidently had lots of reports. I was being sarcastic about reporting him. Leave it up to everyone else.

Wow, you went from one extreme to the other. The vast majority of docs don't fall into either extreme. If you want a better doc, find one.

i think you should have your docors title taken away if you can't even tell the genders apart out of fear of repercussions out of political correctness, which is a more and more common issue these days.

There wasn't one evidently. Learned since this guy was a PA not even a doctor.. the doctor was "on call" for the place at the time. Geez
