Has anyone taken the Opill?

I just bought a box and going to try it. It's a birth control pill.

If you have taken it, were there any side effects?

No, I've only used combination pills in my life to reduce cramps and make my period regular after being under stress for too long. I took them for a while and realised those were messing me up physically, emotionally and even mentally. The cramps weren't that terrible anymore, got my periods on time but it caused me acne flare up for a while, I experienced hearing issue after taking that and there is also cancer risk if you take it for too long. The worst side effect was I got very depressed and I would mood swings all the time. I would cry a lot. I would get angry a lot. I even felt suicidal. When I stopped taking the pill. I became normal after few days.

So, I think contraceptive pills are terrible in general. Perhaps try other alternatives?

I haven't tried it but I think its similar to the mini pill which I did try for a few months but didn't like. Made me really bitchy and had hallucinations. I was also postpartum at the time so dont know if that made a difference in my side effects

Thanks for sharing your experience with the mini pill. I will keep that in mind and if I start to feel those symptoms I will probably stop taking it.

No I have never tried it. But I do believe you will need someone to try it with to see if it really works right we'll I just happen to be free I those days lol

I have not. I use my choice. I know I won't get prevent cause I haven’t been with a guy in 12 years. They help on that time of the month.

Yes you can buy it online on Amazon or in store at Walmart pharmacy or other pharmacies.

Why does it say 28 day supply on the box when there are 30 days in a normal month?
