Or it could be a sweat pimple from a clogged up pore. Happens to everyone.

I'm hoping it is, the guy that thinks it may be a boil has me worried.
Whenever I've had one, which is twice in as many years, I've just squeezed them, and a puss-like substance, slightly thicker, was excreted along with a pubic hair. The next day there was no evidence of the ingrown hair.
Could be a boil.
You have me scared half to death (reading about boils).
It happens bud. Have you recently increased your physical activity level?
No, my physical activity has remained basically the same.
Boils are not that scary. In fact, in grown hairs are one of the possible causes of them
Boils do from pus, but understand pus is simply a collection of white blood cells, bacteria and proteins.
The main thing is to figure out what caused it (be it an ingrown hair, or foreign object like fibreglass, metal shavings, splinters, etc) and figure out how to prevent it from happening again.
Boils are sometimes formed because of a clogged sweat gland, but it's just as easy to cure.
Okay, thanks for the info.
I don't think any foreign objects have found their way info my trousers due to the reason I haven't been around anything of the sorts you listed for about 5 months.
I think it was either in ingrown hair or clogged gland, I'll see a doctor is another happens to pop up.
