11 moLoud eaters. Can't stand it. Lot of bad habits at the table I deal with at work but the kids know at least not to do that when I'm at work. 😅
Myself, I became very self conscious about eating around others when I got sober so I'm on my best behaviour when eating with others.

u 11 moI found smokers to be annoying the most consistently: Shoveling their meals into their mouths like a combine harvester, then either lighting up (if smoking is allowed) or edging everybody on to finish their meals (so they could go to the smoking area). 🙄

11 moThe thing that annoys me most is when people chew super loudly or talk with their mouth full—definitely a no from me! As for me, I sometimes get a little too focused on my phone when eating out, which isn’t great company behavior. Trying to work on that!

@dreamstar72 There is no physical reason this should be. The person is very dexterous otherwise in so many ways. Just likes to shovel food into his mouth.

Imagine a bowl of long pasta, a watery sauce, and someone with 8 inches of sauce soaked noodles hanging from a fork whipping that shit around like a paintbrush loaded with red paint while babbling about his new lawnmower.

She rejects 5 different glasses of wine before settling for a Pinot Grigio with a look of disgust. But I happen to know she grew up in a working class town in a working class family and she knows fuck all about wines and everything else. Meanwhile she's been tying up the bar staff and our waiter for 15 minutes.

11 moI was taught to only take what you're going to eat. What upsets me the most is people who fill their plate and then only eat half of it. What a waste!
30 Reply I try not to judge, but people who eat off of other's plates, or people who like to use their fingers to eat the sauce that is left on their plate after the food is done, or alternatively the people who like to comment too much on other people's manners.

11 moPeople who chew with their mouth open. Whether it's children or adults, it's super aggravating to hear & see them chew with their mouth open. Especially with you have told them multiple times, to chew with your mouth closed, and they just keep doing it.

My biggest general let peeve is excessively poor grammar. If when I ask him how he's been on a first date and he answers "good" instead of "well" its going to take an act of congress for there to be a second date.
