Why do sneezes seem to come in pairs? I notice everytime I sneeze it's almost always twice, not once or three times always twice?

Sometimes a single sneeze only partially clears the irritant. So your brain fires the sneeze reflex again.

2. Some people have a more sensitive sneeze reflex
Everyone’s sneeze reflex sensitivity is slightly different.
For some people:

One sneeze = all clear
For others:
The system says: “Nope, still itchy.” → achoo #2
Sometimes even a third or fourth.
