I get it occasionally. I think I did see like a demon thing coming at me once, and I was trying to wake up to escape it but I couldn't open my eyes. Usually I feel like I'm being just lightly crushed or suffocated by something or someone and can't open my eyes, everything is very vivid.

It happened two years ago.

I woke up, I tried to move, I was aware that I was awake and I was aware that I was trying to move, but my body wasn't responding and I felt trapped, stuck.

My eyes were closed, but the Internet says a sleep paralysis can also happen with open eyes. I'm sure it feels even worse with open eyes.
