I could not be in a relationship with her. I think it would cause so many problems. That disease is really harsh. Everything from getting caught in the rain, to drinking a glass of water, to taking a shower, to sweating, to crying can cause allergic reactions and pain. It's a rough road to walk. It's not about being grossed out by hives. I just think the emotional toll it would take on the person with the disease would cause major problems in the relationship. It would be a very needy and tiring experience.

wouldn't make me break up with my girlfriend, not at all. the only problem might be if she really changed because of it (you know, suddenly got all self-concious), but even that in the short term would be okay. don't worry about it - if he's stupid enough to end a relationship over this he wasn't worth your time in the first place.
If my girlfriend of a year and a half got that disease, I would try to work around it. However, there is a huge likelihood that this would trickle into other aspects of life making it hard to deal with. I'm really not sure on that one, it really depends on who I'm with and how well we connect.
I think you boyfriend would understand... if he didn't then he isn't worth it! He should be supportive and help you out etc, I personally don't think he would be bothered at all, more concerned if you were in pain etc x
I don't see why they should be grossed out. It's something that you have to deal with, and any guy you're with should respect that.

Does this include sweat. If you work out hard and sweat, would you break out in hives? Taking a shower in the morning, washing your face etc...? Any medication you can take to reduce histamine levels from the allergic reaction?
honestly I wouldn't care as long it doesn't infect other people and you can still kiss and do other things etc =p. then were all good :D also depends if he's a agoraphobic that's a different story
My decision to be or not to be in a relationship with someone would not be affected by this.
