He was probably upset and unhappy (because MESS, not because YOU), and that's why he was carrying on. Not it sounds like he gotten over it. Not the most mature thing in the world, but not uncommon :p You could let him know you still feel hurt about the way he reacted, not to blame him, but so he might consider how he reacts when something happens. Or maybe you don't want to be in a relationship with a guy who handles accidents in that way, and that's perfectly fair.
And I think you can safely stop feeling bad about it. He's cleaned it up, it's over now.
... and sleep on a towel next time ;) Folded over is usually pretty safe - it's what my girlfriend and I do after bedtime sex, and keeps messes from getting on the sheets overnight.

buy her some chocolate or whatever to make her not upset and tell her that its fine and nothing to worry about then stick the sheets in the wash... just put a little towel down or something for the next night...
people think its disgusting like what, its only blood... I've dealt with loads of blood when paramedic training and if people know the science behind it all they wouldn't be disgusted either, if anything its a good thing getting a period.

Umm I just paint it white and go on about my day.
i1127.photobucket.com/.../oh-well-o.gifI'd just smother her with hugs and kisses to calm her down and get her to feel relaxed and comfortable. Get her in a shower and throw new sheets on the bed.
I'd inform her that it's her cleaning up the mess and proceed to the sofa.
It would be just like if she urinated, except it's a normal accident that happens during periods.Haha, I'd just chuck the sheets in the washing machine and make us some breakfast. It's not a big deal for me, it's just something that happens.
Try and let her no it's ok and make her feel like she's just as special as before it happened
