Water helps a lot. It's not rocket science: water is pure and has no inorganic chemicals like most drinks that could react in your body with other chemicals and enzymes to produce toxins. Water is pure and so when you drink excess, it cleans out your system, making your body rid of toxins that could cause skin blemishes as well as many even greater health problems. That's why when you drink a lot of water, your urine is very light, or practically clear. The yellower your urine is, the more toxins were expelled from your body, which is not a good sign of a healthy body. So if you want overall health and restoration, drink lots of water daily :D

Personally...bad for me, I know, but I usually don't drink a lot of water... My complexion isn't terrible, I only break out when I'm really stressed and even then, I don't get a lot of acne.. I think it just depends on your general make up design of your face, whether or not you have an oily face, huge pores, small pores whatnot. It really depends. I eat a lot of chocolate too and I don't see myself breaking out -_- What she's saying about it helping remove impurities sounds logical though, I wouldn't doubt it. I guess you won't know if you try the water theory x] Sorry if it doesn't help much
She may drink water, but she probably also has an arsenal of face washes, creams, and who knows what else to keep her skin clear. Your diet, and hormones also play a big part in acne, and chocolate is pretty much a myth, but if your eating fast food every day, full of fat and grease, bad eating means bad skin.
That's 100% true..my brother had problems with acne.He tried every doc but it just couldn't get better than someone told him to drink plenty of water..plus a glass of water with half a lemon and one spoon of honey in it would make your skin flawless! Tested formulas it reallyyy helps..

It helps everyone's skin, you need it. However, if you are prone to acne, you are going to have acne. There are many things you can do to reduce it, but if you have a severe case, the bottom line is you need to see a dermatologist.
Most important: Keep your face clean, but don't over wash, use a non-drying cleanser like Cetaphil.
Acne does tend to run in families too. So, look at your older sibs & parents, if they have it/had it, you probably will.YES! I had bad acne as a teenager and drinking water helps a lot!
You have to be disciplined though, water helps flush oils and sugars out of your system and dilutes your body.
In order for it to work to it's most effectiveness you need to be careful not to eat too many greasy foods or sugars...cut back on the sweets!Drinking lots of water isn't a real treatment. Water doesn't "flush" your body out like you might think. If you drink lots of water, it just goes straight through you and then down the toilet.
Your blood flow to your outer layers of skin isn't affected in the least by drinking a gallon of water, so you should steer clear of any other morsels of wisdom your friend might offerYup it does, it hydrates your skin. Also green tea helps too as well as multivitamins. I've never personally tried it on acne but I know how all of these things benefit your skin.
Water definitely helps, and will be good not just for your skin but your overall health as well. I would suggest combining it with other methods though.
I don't think so.
Two of my cousin had acne and for years nothing worked for them until the doctor give them a
Medicine (pills) which is amazing, but you can't take it until your doctor allows you to , because it has some side effect on your psycho health. I'll ask them what's its name and I I'll let you know !I would't bet that it works for everyone, but yes, a lot of water helps purify your system and might lessen whatever hormones are causing the acne.
Yeah, it works pretty well. But you can't just drink a lot of water and expect perfect skin. Most over the counter stuff works if it's not that bad.
The only thing that cleared my skin was when puberty finally came to a close and my hormones calmed down. :/
It surely is true, it works wonders :)
Yes, but not just water gives perfect skin
