I lost 37 pounds SLOWLY and have horrible sag in my abdomen from having babies...currently doing the HCG, have lost 6# in less than a week during my first week (I am on Day 3 of phase 2)! Do some research, have your hormones checked (I found out I have hyperthyroidism and that's why it took me over 2 years to lose 37#). I would definitely recommend the HCG to anyone and everyone...I think rapid weightloss through another method would result in terrible sagging but this seems to be reducing my sag some. Read Pounds & Inches available online at hcginfo.com...it will probably take two rounds to lose the full 40 but you can loose 20-30 quite easily I think. it is never good to lose weight very quickly. even 15lbs in one month would be a big weight loss. I would aim to lose 2-4 lbs a week and not use any diet pills, injections, etc. have lots of complex carbs, cut out simple carbs, up your protein intake and do cardio 3-4x a week and some body strengthening exercises on the days you're not doing cardio. drink lots of water and don't lose too quickly. your skin will absolutely sag unfortunately if you lose the weight that quickly and a weight loss that quickly is less likely to stay off.
Yes it would because the only safest rate to lose weight is 2lb a week, your talking of loseing 10lb a week so of course it will sag, you will look gross and the skin will not shrink either, because you would of taken all the proteins away for it to function right, so make sure you only lose 2lb a week and this way your skin will revert with your body, otherwise you will regret losing weight, good luck.
Not possible to lose 40 lbs in one month but if you could by some chance yes your skin would sag severely because of how quickly you lost it.

Losing 40 pounds in a month is NOT healthy AT ALL. It puts stress on your kidneys and heart and you can do way more damage than good- things much worse than sagging skin,
If you are that concerned with weight loss, and wanting to lose 40 pounds eat better, eat smaller portions and get active.Chances are it will sag. When you're going from a high weight, it doesn't matter how much you loose in a month you will more than likely have so loose skin that will sag.
Lose it slowly. One month is too fast, you'll get stretch marks.
