Yeah, that's because your body has a unique weight range that you're meant to be in, and it'll naturally pull you into that range (assuming you don't have any preexisting health conditions that damage your metabolism, thyroid, hormones, etc.).
Anywayyy, as for accepting it: Health and feeling good is more important than ripped abs! I'll never be skinny, but I know I'm healthy thanks to staying active and eating well, so what's the problem? There's a ton of pressure from society to have the "perfect body" regardless of how you're actually meant to be, so really what it comes down to is learning to not give a crap about that and instead appreciate what makes you unique.

Your body is the only one you have, you might as well be happy with it now that you're taking care of it. I can't get mine exactly how I want it either.
But seriously, if it bothers you that much, and it continues to do so for a long time, then save up the cash and have the extra skin taken off by a cosmetic surgeon. They aren't just for chicks. Many men have procedures done.
It can take a year for the skin to shrink back.
