How to tan in the winter without the smell?

I've tried self tanners from the store but haaate the odor/orange look...any tips on how I can be a bit tan in winter? I'm kinda paranoid of tanning beds...

What self tanner did you use? There's definitely ones that don't do that. You can also go to a tanning salon and get a self tanner that has perfume in it (you pick the scent). Tanning beds aren't that bad once you try one. You have to make sure you get the appropriate time and a good lotion though. Your other choice is to sit outside in the cold.

There's a lot of options that you can get added onto your self tanner at the salon that they hardly ever bring up. Just ask them what they have (:

~ Buy a hammock

~ Buy some of those heat dishes link

~ Set up hammock outside near power outlets..

~ Set up heat dishes around hammock

~ Strip down and tan...

i use banana boat sunless summer color. it smells the best out of all the tanners I've used (all relative) , and it doesn't really turn you orange. my suggestion is use the dark color, do it like on Sunday, then just moisturize really well throughout the week to keep the color. if you do turn orange, doing it Sunday will let it soak in and set the color before you go out in public.

Lol I mean - usually it's cold so you have to cover up that tan anyway :P

ha ha just tanning your face? Buy a UV Light and plug it up over the head side of your bed lol :P

I think you should give your skin a break - being pale isn't terrible - I actually think that porcelain tone is rather pretty.

You'll save some skin damage and lower the risk for skin cancer -

Then you can go all crazy and do thrice times the damage when summer comes ^^

Tanning in the winter looks kinda dumb...I mean, everyone knows it's fake. It's winter time. lol I'm pale, and I really don't understand what's so horrible about it. And you're smart to stay away from tanning beds, you're looking at a ton of damage to your skin if you start that habit.
