Have you ever had a canker sore?

I hate canker sores because it is painful as hell and I have a hard time eating, talking, yawning etc. How often do you get canker sores and what do you do to cure it?

Once a year maybe, salt water works best to heal them, keep your mouth as clean as possible brush your teeth a couple times a day. If you can get the drug store salt for cankers its good but hard to find. Normal table salt is just as good it just doesn't have the numbing effect so it hurts more. But your still killing it.

I had one once and my Mom had me put Cumin (the spice) on the spot. It tastes horrible and hurst for a bit, but then all of the pain goes and it starts to heal. Agree with you on the pain, they suck!

no but you should find lip balm with L-lysine, zinc or vitamin c in health food stores. those help.

i used to get them all the time, I stopped eating acid stuff like strawberries
