if you fail to plan you plan to fail. The first thing I do is figure out what my goal is, then I make a plan to achieve that goal. I will literally make a check list of the exercise I need to do with the date I need to do it stretching for months out. It will progress to more intense exercise as it goes along. I will tape it to the inside of my bedroom door so that when I wake up every morning it is one of the first things I see. I will then do what ever is on the list for the day right when I get up and then check it off the list. The only time I will deviate from the plan is when I hit a plateau. Then I will reassess the situation and make a new plan to get to the same goal. Simple as that.

Think about your age, and consider how many years of being young and beautiful you have left in your life. Now is the time to be in the best shape possible. Your 20's and early 30's should be your absolute physical peak, so take advantage of these years while you still can.
Also keep in mind that it takes at least one year to change your body completely and sustain the change, and that's if you're totally motivated. Yeah there's programs like P90X, but the sustainability of programs like that can be put to question. It's not about speed, it's about a sustainable change in lifestyle.
Often I don't have the motivation, but I mostly have my parents who will always want to help me as much as they can, for example go for a run whenever. And I go to badminton, so it's kind of a routine of the week, other people can motivate you, like do it with someone, workout with them, maybe to compete if that works for you? :)
For me it's routine of badminton (which I enjoy) and my parents. :)
Not gonna lie, my Pinterest workout board. It's really sad but I've been hung ho about working out and going to the gym, it's a bunch of motivational saying with pictures of perfect looking girls...and I know summer's coming. I've never been fat but I haven't really been toned since high school when I played sports, I've yet to find a workout make me look like I did in high school

For me the motivation came from wanting to become a better motorcycle rider. I was so overweight that it made the bike too top heavy to be able to learn to ride safely.
I put up a picture either of myself, or of some gorgeous woman I'd like to impress, often my wife's picture.
I'll usually find a killer outfit or bathing suit and use that as inspiration.
I think "5:20" ( my goal time for my 500 freestyle). That's all the motivation I need.
