It depends on what you like. I love salad so I'll usually make a big bowl of it and add in grilled chicken, shrimp, or salmon. Make sure you get a low calorie dressing! Dressing can hurt you in calories.
You should really look into buying bulk packs of lean chicken breasts or packs of frozen fish/shrimp. Keep them in your freezer and take out what you want hours before dinner to thaw. Spices can making something plain into an amazing meal! So bulk up on spices too. Veggies are great. I usually get the steam packs. There's some that have sauce which are good. They're low calorie.
Just experiment with things. Read the backs of things to see the ingredients/calorie count. Just use common sense. Nothing fried, always baked or grilled. No butter or a lot of sugar.
Lean meat and fibrous vegetables in various combinations, with minimal calories in the seasoning.
i.e. grilled sirloin with peppers/mushrooms/onions/tomatos tossed in balsamic vinegar and herbs.
grilled chicken breast on salad with a dressing of lowfat plain yogurt mixed with fresh dill.
fish and steamed vegetables.
etc.
