Weight Loss Issues--Need Advice

I've been trying to lose weight for some time now but the problem is I eat a lot. I've tried lowering my portions but when I get hungry I get really nauseous, and it takes a large amount of food to get rid of the nauseous feeling. Take today for instance. For lunch I had a turkey sandwich on wheat with one of those little 99 cent bags of chips. It's been about 45 minutes since I hate and I'm still feeling that nauseous feeling that accompanies hunger.

Some friends have suggested getting that surgery or a lap band but I don't want to do anything that would require surgery. I'd rather do it some sort of natural way.

I really need a way to lower my food intake while dealing with this nausea problem that accompanies hunger. How can I eat smaller meals while still getting rid of the nausea?
