+1 yYes, it's unfortunate that the norm has become "fat"
Fat is unhealthy and it's unattractive, but, we're forced to not say anything about it because it offends those who choose not to workout and eat healthy.
To make it worse, women defend being fatasses by calling themselves curvy & thick.
Society sucks.
About half of America needs to learn to put the f***ing fork down.
I know fat people on the internet claim to be healthy, but, few people have met fat people who actually exercise and eat healthy.
And as for hormonal issues? Over used excuse. It's weird how these hormonal issues all exist within the US15 Reply
Asker+1 yi know people who you would probably consider fat who exercise and eat healthy actually lol you seem very intolerant though. I know a girl who has a thyroid problem and is fat. one of my close friends also has a thyroid problem and she is underweight. I'm gonna conclude that its a valid concern and not something their physicians just made up. I have never heard that this is only a US issue, but okay.
- +1 y
I'm not intolerant, I'm just stating my feelings towards it since we're on the topic.
I never denied that hormone issues exist, but it's an over used excuse and it's hard to take it seriously when I see people downing McDonalds & every other fattening thing on a regular basis. Thin doesn't equal healthy, automatically, but it's ignorant to force down peoples throats that fat is healthy when it's not.
Asker+1 yokay there's a lot of issues with what you're saying. hormones are linked to emotions as well. being fat can and often does relate to emotional issues, brain chemistry can affect eating habits, etc. the fact of cultural food dynamics and individual choices in what you eat do not cancel out the possibility of hormonal, psychological, biological problems. in any case, you're entitled to your opinion, even if it does seem borne out of ignorance. its not a big deal.

Too many excuses for fat people.
Asker+1 ymmk.

+1 yNormal and healthy are two very different things, careful, they are not interchangeable. Normal in America is overweight, healthy is not normal. My bmi is healthy, I have nothing to worry about.

Asker+1 ybmi doesn't make you healthy, that's why its not categorized as such. you can have a bmi that puts you in the range of "normal" weight and still be incredibly unhealthy and have a sh*t load to worry about in the future. tons of people can tell you that. health is far more all-encompassing than simple fat percentages.
- +1 y
I am overall healthy, my bmi is considered healthy and my body / health is good. But what I'm saying is normal and healthy are nothing close to the same.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ythere always complaining that people are over weight. yet but they do nothing about what's in our foods. MSG is a chemical in most foods, which it almost impossible for you loose weight, and yet the amount of sugar that is in all our foods. I wish that stop bitching about these maybe and start asking food companies to cut the rubbish out of our foods.
then again they are all in it together, because in order for them to make us ill and be on medication, like diabetes, high blood pressure tablets, to make the drug companies rich. that's through our foods.22 Reply
Opinion Owner+1 yif no one believes me, look at the dangers of MSG on YouTube, its on several news reports on YouTube. the main stream media won't tell you these things. newspapers and media are very good at brainwashing us. why does every girl think a man likes big boobs, because of the media, and the way celebrities potray themselves. and most men think women want a man for his money. it all comes to back to the media tell us to think a certain way.
Opinion Owner+1 yso what happens both sexes in end up s oconfused in what the other one wants from each other. but really its nothing like that, in reality. they are both just looking for someone decent to get married to and have a family.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI'm still attracted to many girls.

1.1K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Is that surprising given anyone thin in the US is seen as some kind of freakish weirdness? I state for the millionth time, no one has any conception of a healthy weight any more because it has been distorted by a norm which is overweight.

Asker+1 yi don't think being overweight is the same thing as being obese. and I think many people just don't find skinny attractive. its not freakish weirdness though lol calm down. I wouldn't want to be thin/skinny, personally. I just want a visual aid of what this means, damn it. I have no clue what my bmi is but what if that unattractive skinniness is what I should look like? yikes! its interesting in any case though. we should have more interest in our health.

It's the Confederates trying to refight the Civil War, hoping the rest of us will be too fat to fight the if they try to secede again. Notice it's the people below the Mason Dixon line who are the really fat ones.
670 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Yea but who says that that's even right? As long as you're healthy (diet wise and exercising) and you're at a healthy weight then you're fine. By healthy weight I mean a weight/body fat percent that doesn't increase the risk of diseases.

its just some guy's opinion who look little girls and not real women with curves and a body to them. I love my body and it took me a 30 pound weight gain to achieve it. I don't care about "standards"

Anonymous(36-45)+1 y51% of Americans think Obama is a good President. Shows that majority of the country is stupid.

do you why that is mate, because if you look at what fluoride does to you, its in your water and toothpaste. and also look at what our foods contain. most mothers are feeding the babies processed milk. which is full of corn fructose syrup , that's the other reason so many young kids have diabetes. not because of genetics. but of course the media will have you believe that.which kills the babies brain. that's why Americans are getting thicker by generation.
Opinion Owner+1 yThank you for that heartfelt explanation of obesity.
- +1 y
give you a tip, if you want your kids, to grow up healthy, fit, strong, and intelligent, make sure they are fed on proper mothers milk. nothing on this beats it. I am dead serious. most people don't realize that.
Opinion Owner+1 yPlease stop responding to this question. I don't have kids or care about any of this.
