If you worry whether you can aford to pay for gym membership or not, ask them if they offer a 7day trial which you can go in and try using their facility/equipments for a week. Also, if you can't go on a monthly basic, ask if they do weekly. Does your area/neighbor have Planet Fitness; I heard they offer a reasonable price there, prob $12-$10 monthly excluding yearly fee. But, it worths a try...
I don't go to the gym but I work out just for cardio such as: outdoor walkings, zumba, etc...

Location is crucial to ensure regularity and consistency in workouts. If possible, join a club within walking distance from work or a short drive from home. A simple tip to trigger your guilty conscience is to select a gym that you pass by every day. This will remind you to lace up your sneakers and start sweating it out.
You can take a tour of the facility to see if its got the equipment you need as well as the programs you like to participate in. It's about what you want.
For prices, try comparing their standard rate to other gyms.

Anytime Fitness where I live is one of the most expensive. There's a lot of gyms that are cheap and larger. I highly suggest you shop around and get a tour of multiple gyms.
