im in a ldr we Haven't met yet so we send pictures all the time

i smile in the pictures and show my teeth even though I have a little gap. its been 9 months and I still really Haven't seen his teeth.

does that mean he has bad teeth or do some guys just not like to show them

this might be a cultural thing. I don't show my teeth in pictures, and have decent teeth. I spent some time with a Canadian back in the day, and I noticed that in every single photo she bore her teeth, a big joyous unrestrained smile; whereas mine was more reserved, a grin devoid of teeth, unless she managed to get me laughing. Or he might have bad teeth. Ask him?

well I suppose if you were stereotyping you'd expect them to be even more reserved there. I'm don't think it's rude to be direct, provided you get across you just want to see how he looks , rather than it being to assess them. Would you not talk on Skype anyhow? I think that would be the next stage if the relationship is to progress.

So, you've seen pictures, but never video chatted and you've been in this "relationship" for 9 months? I'll bet you a million dollars the person you're talking to isn't the person in those pictures.
