No.
Go read a book about health and fitness.
Maintain a normal caloric intake with good quality food, meaning no junk food.
Then lift weights. Cut out the running and cardio BS, that will get you nowhere to weight loss.
Do squats, benchpresses, and lunges a lot and throw in a good 4-6 more exercises to each days workout.
Not eating enough will actually cause your health to deteriorate and cause problems.
Most people's problem with losing weight is that they assume they can do it for a short term and the problem won't come back.
A healthy diet and exercise is the best way to not only looking good but feeling good. You can starve yourself and lose weight, but like I said it'll create health problems and you won't have changed your lifestlye so the weight will come back because you can't maintain it.
Go to your local library and pick up a book with a weight lifting focused health program. They typically include a diet plan with real and good food.
To bust another myth weight lifting won't cause you to get huge. It will however drop the fat off you quicker than anything other method available if that's your goal.
High weight for losing weight and building size. High reps for toning and defining.
It's that simple.
For a quick reference off the top of my head, try finding "The ABS diet" by David Zinczenko. It's focused on the abs obviously but the health information will help inform you of what you need and it's quick and easy to read and the workout itself is simple and can be done easily and at home in 20-30 minutes.
PLEASE, just don't starve yourself.

This is a bad idea. I'm no nutritionist, but I know that not only is this dangerous and unhealthy, but it can also cause you to gain fat. Less than 1000 or so calories sends your body into "starvation mode" where it retains as much fat as possible from calorie intake.
You'll lose weight but because you only intend on doing this for a short period of time, the weight will come back for the most part.
Ideally, it is a lifestyle change, which means you are creating healthier habits that you are going to keep the rest of your life.
If you can't imagine doing a particular diet for the rest of your life, it isn't the right one for you. Just learn to eat balanced- healthy foods such as fruit, veggies, whole grains, etc and cut out the crap food that doesn't fill you up and is just empty calories like soda and other processed foods.
You shouldn't be working out on only 500 calories. Your body will eventually feel weak and tired. Try consuming a healthy caloric intake of approx. 2,000 calories and take vitamin supplements. If you work out routinely, results will start to show. Don't fall into the trap of eating disorders.

Don't do this. We don't even give people in vegetative states that few calories, and they're just laying there.
If you want to lose weight, take in 14 calories for every pound you want to be (so if you want to be 120lbs, 120x14=1680), and stick to it.you're going to eat 500 calories and then work out to burn those calories? not healthy at all.
you need to eat more calories than that. that's not enough to keep your body functioning and you'll go into starvation mode and probably gain weight instead of lose it.I can not tell you how many ways eating only 500 cals / day is bad for you. You will lose muscle; you will gain it all back; you will get unhealthy fast; and you will get sick. And oh yeah, did I mention death.
I won't judge you because my calorie intake is slightly above that, but for the most part, yeah, a bad way to lose weight. You'll simply end up gaining it back soon.
That is way below the average basal metabolism for a woman. What that means is you will definitely lose weight, but it might be unhealthy, especially for a month. If you are dead set on doing that, you should research Calorie Restriction.
SURE! but you'll be dead but who cares because you will be skinny! -.-
You won't have the energy to keep up your workout program; even if you are tiny you'd need 1200 a day to keep you going!
You're going to gain the weight right back as soon as your month-long starvation is over, not to mention ruining your health and metabolism. Just freakin' have a normal amount of calories and be active. For the rest of your life.
You'll probably die.
Good luck with this stupid diet. You'll lost a lot of muscle and that's never a good thing.
All I know is that you run on the treadmill for 45 to an hour. You will lose 450-500 calories only.
Yes, but I recomend you to only do it for a week!
The other weeks you should keep at 1200 kcal. You will se results this way too, do not worryI say aim for burning 1000cal/per day this way you'll lose a pound or two in a week.
Would help you ..
But unfortunately you may feel so tired all the day!
So add more veggies and fruits to your diet :)You need more calories.
Stupid idea.
