Is this an allergic reaction?

I have a lot of unknown allergies and I think I may have found another?

I got my first tattoo on March 31st and I love it! However, shortly after getting him I noticed bumps in that area. Little white bumps that itch sometimes. I brought it up to my mum and she said that it could just be my shirt irritating me. My tattoo is on the right side of my chest and my left side is not bothering me.

I adore tattoos and I most definitely want more, I want to be covered. I even asked for another one for my upcoming birthday!

Is this an allergic reaction? Is there any cream I could use on it? I am NOT removing my tattoo, I can't afford it and I don't want to. Also, if it is allergies, can you get hypo-allergenic tattoos? Or will I just have to deal with it?

Not sure about the itchiness, but I had a friend who developed little white bumps as well, but they gradually went away. Not sure if it was a reaction or what, but I thought I'd share since it was similar. Google and see if others have had the same problem.

It could just be how your body is reacting to it. It could be your body fighting the ink, which is completely normal. Keep the skin clean where you got the tattoo clean, and see a doctor if the skin around it swells or turns blue.

I would go see a dermatologist so they can actually see it and help you with your exact skin type you know.
