Question about jean size

Does anyone know what the weight range is from one jean size to another? Like on average, how much weight would you have to lose to go down a jean size?

I am 140 pounds and I wear 7 or 9 in juniors. Muscle weighs more than fat. So, if you lost 10 pounds of fat by running and lifting, you would only weigh a few pounds more or less than when you started. It depends on height, too. I am 5' 11" and very athletic. I wouldn't be in a size 9 if I was 5' tall and 140 pounds. This will annoy the crap out of you but, it really depends on the persons overall body structure.

I think about 10 or eleven pounds. It can change a lot though, because everyone has a different bone structure. For ex, a friend weighs about 110 pounds and she's a size 5. Another friend weighs 122 and is a size 3. It all depends on your body type but I'd say 10 pounds is a whole size.

Weight is tied to a lot of things really, this is a tough call.

It's not based on weight, rather size of your hips and such.

Why would it not be based on weight? When you lose weight you fit into smaller clothes, and your hips get smaller.

Muscle weighs more than fat. you can have no fat weigh 130 and still wear a size 10-12 jean because you have bigger bone structure and more muscle. the only time jean size factors in to weight is when you have fat around your waist

Weight; lets say a two girls are both 140, one may be more top heavy, understand?
