Instinct tells me that this guy likes me but when I'm feeling shy, nervous, scared, he's a thousand times more attentive and concerned and very caring. The puppy dog eyes he gives me when I'm showing my helplessness is overwhelming.

I know guys are probably that way when they like a girl and have some fantasy to take her in their arms and look after her, but I was just wondering: is it a turn on when a girl is the damsel in distress? Does it put the fantasy of looking after her and protecting her from the cruel world (lol) in your head?

people that get turned on by other peoples distress have hero complex and can not respect other people as strong individuals who may encounter a problem once in awhile. they just see you as a mess who _needs_ the,. your choice, but hopefully he's just trying to be helpful.

you want someone to like you. not like how powerful you make them feel because they see you as weak. unless respect isn't important to you.
