Do girls assume a guy is a jerk if he has muscles?

I never wanted to be a 'meathead' or 'juicer.' I like to work out and gain size and strength, naturally.

I've gained a solid 30+ pounds of muscle in less than a year mostly because I was relatively skinny when I started. With that being said, I joke about the lifestyle all the time. I don't think I'm overly big or anything, but I do admire my hard work and I think girls do as well.

People seem to respect me a lot more and I find it a lot easier to talk to girls, but is it a plus or a negative as far as the first impression?
