-Funny how God doesn't talk like that about any other commandment. Also to "Remember" the Sabbath day, as if people were forgetting what day it was on.

Those rules were in the Old Testament. New rules of the New Testament are the ones we follow now.

The Pharisees were breaking their own commandments. They bared false witness, killed, coveted, didn't honor God their father, who is Jesus... do you want me to go on? !

Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments. It's incomprehensible to me for a Christian to not be able to see that.

To be quite frank, Jesus came because the people were no longer following God's laws, other wise why should he have come? Only the athiest/pagan gentiles seemed to mostly listen to him, the jews he grew up with did not.

Not the 10 commandments, but things like an eye for an eye, or if you do something you shall be put to death, etc. In the Old Testament God was a god of wrath. Now He is a God of forgiveness and mercy.
