Do any adults still get stuck at the kid’s table at Christmas?

Yep, I get stuck with the kiddos.

It did happen last year that I was stuck there but I was the only one to blame for that.

It was a "reward" and honor I was given for playing with the kids and their toys. I was always good with kids and myself, I used to have those Dinky Toys as a kid rather than Barbie dolls. I was a bad mother, never changed diapers, never fed them but an excellent driver in races with those toys.

Consequence: The kids wanted to me to be with them at their table and have fun. Actually, I did not mind. Adults can be so boring!

I don’t mind it either, tbh. Both my sister and I volunteer for it to give the parents a break. Our cousins are at that cute age. Well, some are. XD

Oh yeah. The "kids" though are all in highschool now and I get accused all the time of still looking like I'm in highschool so I look like I'm part of their group lol.

It's one big table. Daughters get to sit next to the grandkid who will need the most attention.

It's just a really long table, actually several tables joined together. People tend to sit where they like, but somehow we always end up sort of grouped together by generations. Grandparents at one end, children and teenagers at the other end. We get stuck in the middle :)

Yep. I really don't mind it much. My cousins are at that cute age and a lot of fun.

They will look up at their 'older cousin', a bit like an older sister they might not have. And it gives you the chance of feeling a little bit like a kid again. No harm there.

The table is covered with cocaine lines for us to snort. Food is for pussies. Hookers and hard liquor are for the adults.

When my family gets together it is sit where you can… I usually go to my room and eat at my computer desk where I am either playing video games, estimating jobs for work or writing on one of the two storylines for video games I am trying to get out of my head and on paper.
