with and then there is that one or two that they wine and dine because they care. This is the same for some women. We have changed the way that we think is best to get to know someone in order for it to last and based on what has or has not worked to date. So though I get what you think from your point of view but you equally want the freedom to change your mind on who you wine and dine and who you dont, should a woman be upset for not being treated like someone you may not have cared about.

will try to give you an example, though its not comprehensive so don't get technical about it, it is just a quick comparison to assist you in understanding women who chose to be celibate after theyve had sex and your position on comparing yourself to the man before that she was with quicker.Men frequently do one thing for the women that they feel are worth while and another for the women that they dont. Some men will not spend a dime on a female that they are just having a sexual relationship

@dudeman...again I am not certain you could understand. As a woman, most live a life of trial and error in relationships. If something doesn't work you re-evaluate and come back to the table with something else until you refine to what feels like your authentic you. Though I understand your comment from a man's point of view from a woman's point of view it is not seen as a source of punishment or competition in how quickly someone has been with you and quite frankly again it is not about you. I

Change her mind regarding her behavior.there are plenty of women who realize that there sexual behavior is a huge mistake and decide to change their life and operate in relationships differently and decides to be celibate.its funny because below another user wanted to convince me that the old stigmas around sex are gone for women lol and its so not true lol

@dudeman...thanks for your comment. I agree that women have a blessing of being able to have children that is not considered and should be taken better care of than it is today which is another aspect of my point.I will say that despite popular belief rule3 is not religious at all.now what concerns me about your comment is that I have heard your assessment of women who have already had sex who now chose to be celibate and I am very curious why.At what point is a female no longer allowed to

@hardapplecider...thanks for reading. I hate to break it to you but rule#3 is not about men lol. Its not at all. Its about women and how women are physically and emotionally affected by sex that can lead to some bad judgment calls. Men don't understand this because you are not a woman but women form connections and bonds through sex even when its with the wrong man. Women can't turn it off and on. We try to but we can't.

The driver's license to marriage analogy as well as the advice that people don't have sex until marriage makes me shake my head...

I understand how special marriage is to people, but objectively it's nothing more than a government record. There is nothing "magical" about marriage. People won't get anything out of it if they don't put anything into it.

Don't treat sex like it's something that "men earn" because it's not, unless the woman isn't a keeper. It's something 2 people share.

woman's point of view there are tons of women who go on a 3rd and 4th date or go into relationships with someone that they already feel is not a good match for them but they continue for various reasons, loneliness, desparation, low self-esteem and many more. So again I think the disconnect that you see is because you are not a woman. Its not as cut and dry as you think it is for women. And I don't associate equality with this issue as that is a civil right regardless of what we go through

@jayman...well just to clear up your thoughts on my intentions by pointing out that I am not in any way trying to tell women how to avoid pain. Believe me there is plenty of pain in relationships even dating the right guys that don't work out because you're jus tnot meant for each other or in a relationship even with your match. What I am telling them is to avoid unnecessary pain and be smarter in their decisions of who they chose to have relationships with and for what reasons. again from a

@dudeman...hi there, thanks for your comment. You are absolutely right. I think that part of the issue is that the role of women have changed through out the years however what men want has not. So women have changed the game even though the rules have stayed the same. There are still natural complexities to a womans mind and body that exist that the modern woman is trying to ignore.

why certain things are happening to them or why they end up or are in certain situations nor do they get why our young women of today are so carefree sexually to the point where it is now becoming harmful when we (I include myself) never taught them that just because you can do something doesn't mean that you have to, especially if you don't want to and another man will come along lol and its not the end of the world lol. Wish you and your girlfriend the best !

this occurs, they usually just don't understand why they know that someone is wrong for them but they can't get themselves to move on. Sometimes its love sometimes its sex and sometimes it a deadly combination of both lol. So again it sounds like you have a great relationship I don't push my beliefs on others so I won't comment on the premarital sex religious side even though it happens to agree with my point. Women just have lost control over their sexual relationships and seem to have no idea

I disagree with rule #3. A man should not initiate every step. That isn't right. A guy shouldn't do absolutely everything in the relationship. Guys also need to feel wanted. Guys need to know that their girls are eager to see THEM. No guy likes a lazy woman who thinks the man should do everything. No sensible man will date a woman who makes him do everything

I find it funny how people are complaining about the sex part when the reality of the current culture shows that a women with only five partners has less then a thirty percent chance of her marriage lasring longer then five years only five years people need to pull the feminist dogma stick out of,their ass and face facts

I'm not against the waiting (provided it is not too long), I'm against the waiting until marriage. With true love, it doesn't matter when you do it for the first time. For me, it's a pleasure to make love to my girlfriend because for me she is the most beautiful lady in the world. I didn't fall in love with her because of her body (although I'm not complaining at all lol), she stole my heart with her amazing smile.

What takes priority is love. My favorite part of the relationship isn't sex, but the kiss. Giving love is the biggest way to show respect and passion to the one you love. Without passion, what are we? Unattractive zombies going through the motions. The physical part is not the be all and end all of a relationship, but part of something bigger and more meaningful. Watch the movies "Don Juan de Marco" and "Casanova" to see what I mean. Both can be found on Youtube.

My point is you can't have a marriage without love. I only pointed out the "sex rule" because this is an integral part of a relationship. How do you know the other person is compatible with you unless you know everything about them? Most importantly, marriage isn't needed for love. I'm faithful because I am in love, especially to someone who lives in a different country. However, I agree with you about self-value. And yes, I know the reason why the site exists. PS. Thanks for your kind words.

The rules are there are no rules because every person is different. I've found one thing that trumps marriage, it's called LOVE. I call "sex" with my girlfriend making love because I want to have a deeper connection with her and to love her more. Making mistakes is a part of life, and so is learning. Therefore, your analogy of the hamburger lacks foundation, and, as a result, lacks veracity.

First of all, it's a bit insulting to say only selfish people don't want to get married. You can argue your point without attempting to insult mine. I've already told you my story, it is what it is. My girlfriend does not want to get married, if she did she would tell me or at the very least want to talk about marriages in general. When was it a crime to put yourself first? Notice that you are using the internet to discuss this with me? You can't burn a candle at both ends.

A family tree doesn't need a marriage. Again, only people that really matter will know of my existence as a person, others will know me a different way. An estate planning tool is a WILL, not a wedding (despite what you say). Why do think live-ins are being classed as a married couple in the eyes of the law? Please answer me this.
